Rajeev Beijing

Professor Rajeev Bhargava, Director of the Institute of Indian Thought at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, New Delhi and Professorial Fellow at the Institute for Social Justice, has been invited to speak at Tsinghua University in Beijing, organized by their Institute of Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences, where he will speak on European Secularism.

Following this appearance, Professor Bhargava will travel to Sydney in early December and co-teach our Masterclass on The Idea of Alternative Modernities where he will explore the idea of alternative modernities with reference to Indian religions and secularisms, and to discussions of axiality, in particular, an axial moment in the history of the Indian sub-continent.
