Sydney School for Critical Social Thought 2016

The Institute for Social Justice’ Sydney School for Critical Social Thought has begun and is promising to be a successful two-week thought provoking event with a diverse range of speakers and panelists.

Our first theme on Decolonizing / Transnationalizing Feminism was kicked off by University of Sydney’s Professor Raewyn Connell‘s lecture “Thinking from the South: Understanding gender and power in world perspective” and will be followed by a panel on Women’s Activism, Patriarchy, and Colonization: Local and Transnational Perspectives

For more information on the upcoming themes of ISJ’s unique two week conference or to participate please visit our events page or download our Sydney School for Critical Social Thought booklet
